Resourcefulness is EVERYTHING as a VA. Clients are going to come to you with all kinds of problems, and some of them? You’ll have no clue how to solve at first.

That’s okay! Being resourceful means you can figure it out on your own. Google, ChatGPT, YouTube—these tools will become your best friends. When a client needs something you’ve never done before, you’re the person who says, “I’ll figure it out,” and then you do.

Honestly? Most client requests aren’t that complicated—they’re just time-consuming. And that’s why they hire you! To save them time, tackle challenges, and get things done. A good VA is their client’s virtual problem solver.

2. Overthinking Is Actually a Good Thing

Overthinkers, this one’s for you! If you tend to double-check everything, that means tasks aren’t going to fall through the cracks. And when you’re juggling multiple clients, this is a HUGE plus.

You can make things easier for yourself, too. Tools like Asana, Trello, and Todoist can help organize all your tasks, keeping everything straight so nothing slips by. Clients love knowing their VA has a handle on all the details, which is key for those looking to become a high-earning virtual assistant.

3. You’re Not Afraid to Shake Things Up

Do you get bored easily in jobs? Find yourself excited at first, but a few months in, you’re already daydreaming about something else? Guess what? That’s actually a strength in the VA world.

Every client is different, and each day brings new projects and requests. As a VA, there’s ALWAYS something fresh on your to-do list. You’ll rarely get bored because the work changes all the time.
