My Story...

"I just want to travel"

Those are the exact words I said to my husband one evening in 2016. I had recently graduated university, got a steady 9-5 job, and had a 10-year roadmap for climbing the corporate ladder.

But that's not what I wanted.

I wanted to run away, go travelling, and live my life now. I didn't want to work 40 hours a week for a company that didn't know my name. I didn't want a limit on my vacation days. I didn't want to wait until I was 65 to experience freedom.

There was just one problem...

I had NO idea how I was going to do it.

My Virtual Assistant Era

I spent my lunch hours reading blogs while eating leftovers from my sad little Tupperware... learning about ways to replace my 9-5 income so I could quit my job.

First, I found the world of freelancing and virtual assisting, so I started freelancing as a side hustle while I still had a full time job. Five months later, I hit $10,000 in revenue and handed in my two weeks notice.

My husband and I spent the next 6 months travelling to 22 countries living the digital nomad life, and for the first time in like EVER experiencing a feeling of true joy and happiness.

I continued working as a virtual assistant and LITERALLY living the dream for the next 7 years. I scaled my income to six figures while working with the most amazing clients as a VA.

My Online Course Era

In 2022, I thought... "I get to work remotely, set my own hours, choose the clients I want to work with, travel as much as I want... why the heck isn't everyone doing what I do?!"

Well, because they don't know how to, dummy.

I spent months building my virtual assistant business, learning what works and what doesn't, and finding the right strategies. Not everyone wants to do that, they just want to be told what to do.

So I decided to launch my very first online course, the Virtual Freelancer Academy: a step-by-step roadmap filled with all my juicy tips and strategies that helped me become a successful virtual assistant. It was the perfect way to teach what I know, WITHOUT having to coach one-on-one (hello, I still have my virtual assistant business keeping me busy), AND create a stream of passive income.

I spent my summer learning everything I could about growing a social media following, building a successful online course, and marketing the right way to find students that actually want to enrol in it.

In my first year, my online course business generated multiple 6-figures, while working less than 10 hours a week, and without spending a cent on ads.

No way I'm gatekeeping this info for another 7 years, though! So, at the end of 2023, I launched my second program, Six Figure Online Course: my EXACT process for launching a six-figure online course, grow a following online, and start making passive income.

And that brings us to today :)
